Soraya

Her passion lies in guiding people back into their bodies intuitively, and with deep presence.

Her approach is eclectic and embodied weaving somatic and flow-based yoga poetry, insight, and the wisdom of nature’s rhythms.

Rooted in her understanding of how trauma shapes both mind and body, she brings a soulful sensitivity to each session.

She is also a skilled energy worker, using vibrational to support deep nervous system healing. with warmth and empathy,

Soraya holds space in a way that feels both grounding, nurturing expansive, inviting you to come home to yourself.

Mike

Mike is a deeply insightful Iyengar yoga teacher,

known for his rare ability to see where you’re holding back —

in your body or in your mind.

His own healing journey began after a serious climbing accident and it shaped a practice rooted in patience, precision, and quiet perseverance.

Why this retreat?

You’ll be staying in our home — not a commercial retreat venue — and that’s exactly what makes this experience so special.

Guests often say it feels like being welcomed into a family.

Many choose to return again and again.

We create an environment that fosters growth, empowerment, and genuine connections—an experience you will carry in your heart long after you leave the mountains.

As you journey alongside like-minded individuals, a sense of community and belonging will envelop you. Share your stories, laugh, and support one another as you navigate the winding paths of self-discovery.

The rhythms of daily life, set against the backdrop of jaw-dropping mountain views, will revolve around elements of this:

  • 2 daily yoga practices (dynamic in the morning and restorative late afternoon), a total of 4 hours each day, facilitated by Soraya and Mike Farr)

  • Daily times of silence

  • Daily meditation practices

  • Daily sharing circles

  • Self-enquiry: daily journalling and  reflective processes

  • Creativity & Art

  • Soundbath

  • Dance

  • Kirtan and Song

  • Being in community with like minded folks

Be welcomed into our home and way of living. You are offered the rare opportunity to live entirely off-grid, pure spring water, no electricity cables or wifi.

This environment invites deep presence, it’s a place to rediscover your spirit and your passion for life and reconnect with your core essence, unraveling the layers that make you unique.

With compassionate guidance, we encourage you to explore your thoughts, emotions, and beliefs, enabling you to make positive, lasting shifts in your life.

We live in a disconnected world — always doing, always achieving.

But understanding doesn’t happen through more striving.

It happens when we pause. When we are supported. When we come back to our body, to simplicity, to ourselves.

There is plenty of space in the day to hang out in the wood-fired hot tub, nestled in the mountainside or read in a hammock.

Laughter usually filters out of the kitchen as folks sit around the kitchen table, helping to prepare meals (Our chefs love sharing there passion for plant-based cooking)

Or you might be asked to help chop wood or tend the campfire whilst watching the kaleidoscope of light bathe the mountain tops.

The highlight is, however, the luxury of living simply, in nature and being nurtured by sleeping close to the earth under canvas, lulled by the chorus of crickets and the nearby gorge.

Embrace the adventure, feed your soul, and embark on a transformative journey unlike any other. Book your retreat with us today and rediscover the magic hidden within you.
